As Vice President of Business Development and Legal Notification Services, Carla drives the strategic direction and growth of the company’s class action and mass tort initiatives. She is responsible for fostering key relationships and developing new relationships in the legal industry, as well as overseeing the business development professionals who ensure Verita’s market leadership position in providing administration services.
With over two decades of experience, Carla serves as an industry leading notice expert. She oversees the Legal Notification Services team for Verita in both the U.S. and Canada. Her expertise includes all aspects of media research, planning, and buying, as well as the design and production of various forms of notice. Carla ensures that all of Verita’s notice plans satisfy due process requirements; applicable state and federal laws; and satisfy the plain language requirements of Rule 23 and adhere to the guidelines set forth in the Manual for Complex Litigation, Fourth and by the Federal Judicial Center (FJC). She has successfully provided notice in both the U.S. and international markets, including communications in more than 35 languages.
In addition to providing expert testimony and depositions, Carla has presented and written numerous articles about class notification programs, the design of effective notice documents, as well as industry trends and innovations. She is also a certified professional in Social Media Marketing, Digital Fundamentals, Digital Sales, and Google Ads Fundamentals.
Carla holds a Master of Business Administration from West Chester University, graduating summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Temple University.
