Kate brings over a decade of experience to her role as Vice President of Class Action Services at Verita, where she leads a team managing complex international settlements and U.S. government administrations. Her work involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and executing comprehensive program strategies while refining operational processes to better serve clients.

Throughout her recent career in the class action industry, Kate has focused on several high-profile, international administrations, including both the Fortis Settlement and the Steinhoff Global Administration. She has navigated the intricate details of these settlements, which often encompass multiple jurisdictions, sophisticated operational protocols, and diverse stakeholder interests. Her expertise lies in effectively managing these complexities.

Prior to joining Verita, Kate practiced law in New York, handling a broad spectrum of legal matters. She maintains her admission to practice in both New York state and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Kate also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer, contributing to community development projects for several years in Benin, West Africa.

Andres brings nearly two decades of corporate restructuring experience to his role as Managing Director, where he effectively coordinates with debtor’s counsel, financial advisors and other bankruptcy professionals to provide substantive case-management support to Verita’s clients. Clients rely on his guidance in preparing for chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, preparing Schedules and Statement of Financial Affairs, managing claims reconciliation, and overseeing solicitation and distribution processes.

Andres has worked on several notable chapter 11 cases such as Lordstown Motors Corp., SC Healthcare Holding, LLC (Petersen Health Care), Henry Ford Village, Inc., Northwest Senior Housing Corporation, and the City of Detroit.

Mishka brings over 15 years of settlement administration experience to her role as a Vice President on the Class Action Securities team. She is responsible for overall day-to-day management of the securities processing, tasks, and cases. Prior to her current role, Mishka held numerous roles within Verita, making her very knowledgeable of the settlement administration industry. In addition to her role as Vice President, Mishka is currently the case manager for several cases which are in various phases of notice, claims processing, and distribution. These cases include many of Verita’s most sensitive and complex matters such as the Pfizer Securities Litigation, AIG 2008 Securities Litigation, Household International Securities Litigation, DHB Industries Inc. Class Action and Restitution, ARCP Securities Settlement, Valeant Securities Settlement, Wells Fargo Securities Settlement, and Alphabet Securities Settlement.

As a Vice President of Trustee & Fiduciary Services (TFS), Lisa brings over 20 years of industry experience to the Verita TFS team. She has an established network of relationships throughout the profession and is known for staying in touch with clients long after the initial implementation to ensure continuing success. Lisa leverages her expertise and experience in bankruptcy case administration and banking to provide exceptional service to clients.

Prior to joining Verita, Lisa worked as Vice President at IQ7 Technology, Inc. (fka Olofson Technology Partners) in business development and client services. Her previous roles include holding senior positions in the bankruptcy department at another software and fiduciary services provider and as Vice President at Bank of America.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business.

Beth brings over 30 years of corporate restructuring experience to her role as Senior Director at Verita. Beth works with restructuring clients to ensure they receive exceptional service tailored to the unique needs of the specific case. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation as a trusted and valued advisor. Having experience in large and small, pre-packaged and pre-arranged as well as free fall cases, her first-hand knowledge proves invaluable in managing the complexities and challenges of developing claims administration and noticing plans that suit each client.

Prior to joining Verita, Beth was Restructuring Department Coordinator at Kirkland & Ellis LLP working on complex cases such as Calpine Corporation, Charter Communications, Sbarros, The Great Atlantic and Tea Company, The Readers Digest Corporation, Avaya, Energy Future Holdings, Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, Payless Corporation and 21st Century Oncology amongst others.

As an active member in the industry, Beth has been recognized for her contributions and achievements by the International Women’s Insolvency Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). She is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and a volunteer with Her Justice.

With over a decade of experience in the legal field, Frank plays an integral role in each engagement at Verita. From fostering client relationships and strategic initiatives, to overseeing settlement administration, case management, staffing, training, and technology, Frank plays both a strategic and tactical role in Verita’s Class Action and Mass Tort divisions.

In addition to supervising the operations of Verita’s pharmaceutical and product liability matters, Frank oversaw the administration of the Porter Ranch Gas Blowout matter, in which over 30,000 plaintiff discovery questionnaires were administered and served by Verita. Frank has also helped oversee the settlement administration of nearly 100,000 claimants in mass arbitration proceedings across the nation. Most recently, Frank has worked on several high-profile government matters involving attorney general proceedings.

Prior to joining Verita, Frank was responsible for the litigation and management of over one hundred labor and employment and consumer class action lawsuits.

Frank received his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he served as the Chairperson of the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law, and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Boston College.

Jay brings a decade of settlement administration experience to his role at Verita. He oversees all aspects of case management, ensuring operational efficiencies and successful implementation of settlement requirements, plans of administration, and plans of allocation. He is also involved in the development and testing of operational process improvements to meet business and client needs.

Jay has managed numerous notable cases, including In re Anthem, Inc. Data Breach Litigation; Hageman v. AT&T Mobility LLC; Duncan v. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.; Shane Flaum v. Doctor’s Associates, Inc. n/k/a Doctor’s Associates LLC; and Luster v. Wells Fargo Dealer Services, Inc.

Prior to joining Verita, Jay was an Operations Manager for Lucasfilm Ltd. gaming division LucasArts Entertainment Company.

Shawn brings two decades of settlement administration experience to his role as a Director of Operations where he oversees the daily procedure and client interactions of Verita’s Government Division. He is responsible for all aspects of division projects including pricing, procedures and protocols, and oversees mail intake, document input and scanning divisions.

He brings a depth of knowledge, insight, and understanding of the settlement industry and its processes, making him an invaluable asset to the Verita team. Shawn is seen by his team and clients as a trusted, informed, and meticulous problem-solver. He consistently goes above and beyond to provide streamlined and cost-efficient solutions for his clients.

Shawn has been integrally involved in some of Canada’s most prominent cases both national and provincial. These cases include Shell Polybutylene Pipes, KPMG – Overtime Redress Plan, Behr Wood Sealant, Walkerton Compensation Plan, Indian Residential Schools Class Action Litigation, and Roth and Fifield – Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped.

Shawn received his Diploma in Law and Security Administration from Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Additionally, he is a Chartered Insurance Professional, a member of the Insurance Institute of Canada, and has been a Licentiate in Adjusting since 1993.

With over 35 years of experience, Francine is a seasoned veteran and pioneer of the chapter 11 bankruptcy and claims administration industry. Her career began with the largest retail chapter 11 bankruptcy of its time, Revco D.S. Inc. From there she went on to manage the administration of many chapter 11 cases including PharMor, McCrory Stores, and HomePlace Stores, Inc. Her expertise extends across a wide array of industries such as gaming, real estate, healthcare, and manufacturing, and she also has experience with chapter 7, 9, and 15 filings.

As a Senior Managing Director, Francine works with clients to ensure they receive high-quality services tailored to their unique needs. Francine brings first-hand knowledge in managing the complexities and challenges of claims administration and partners with clients to ensure a successful outcome.

As an active member in the industry, Francine has been recognized for her contributions by the International Women’s Insolvency Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) who bestowed on her the Founders Award in 2008. She is also a longstanding member and supporting sponsor of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association and the AIRA. Prior to joining Verita, Francine held a key executive position at a national claims administration consulting firm.

Adam brings over 20 years of corporate restructuring experience to his role as Director to provide claims and legal administration services to Verita’s clients.

Prior to joining Verita, Adam worked for a claims administration firm where he successfully managed the case and/or claims administration process of the following cases: Edison Mission Energy, MF Global Holdings, Arcapita Bank B.S.C., American West Development, Exide Technologies, AMR Corporation (America Airlines), AmCad Holdings, ProNerve Holdings, LLC, IFC Credit Corporation, and Credit Alliance Group. He also worked as a Paralegal in the Restructuring practice at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Adam graduated with distinction with an M.B.A. from DePaul University and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University.

Bill brings over 30 years of chapter 11 restructuring experience to his role as a Director at Verita where he is a member of the specialized Schedule of Assets and Liabilities (SOALs) and Statement of Financial Affairs (SOFAs) preparation team.

While at Verita, Bill has assisted 40+ clients and financial advisors in preparing the SOFAs and SOALs in a wide-ranging group of industries including airline, pharmaceutical, healthcare, restaurant, and manufacturing entities.

Prior to Verita, Bill worked as an independent bankruptcy consultant for the F+W Media, Inc. chapter 11 bankruptcy where he oversaw the preparation of the schedules and statements, post-sale accounting, and other matters. Prior to that, Bill was a founding member of a software company that published a web-based SOALs and SOFAs tool. As a senior member of Trumbull Services, LLC (subsidiary of Hartford Financial Group and then Wells Fargo) he was involved with many large reorganizations. He also has served as trustee in HomePlace Stores II. Bill has provided expert testimony regarding balloting and solicitation. Bill began his reorganization career on the Federated Department Stores, Inc. where he became Principal of the Federated Claims Services Group formed as a result of that reorganization. Bill is a co-holder of a U.S. patent related to claims trading.

David brings over 40 years of domestic and international public securities expertise to Verita in his role as Senior Managing Director of Public Securities Services.

As Senior Managing Director, David has supervised securities balloting for large and complex restructuring matters including Windstream Holdings, Superior Energy Services, Oasis Petroleum, Legacy Reserves, Peabody Energy, CHC Group, Paragon Offshore, Alpha Natural Resources, City of Detroit, Michigan, Ambac Financial, Jefferson County, Alabama, Residential Capital and pre-packaged solicitations for Forbes Energy, Goodman Networks, A.M. Castle and Modular Space Holdings. In addition, he has administered rights offerings performed in connection with the restructurings of Windstream Holdings, Superior Energy Services, Peabody Energy, CHC Group, Erickson Incorporated, Chaparral Energy and Overseas Shipholding.

Overseeing the securities solicitation process from start-to-finish, David works with debtors’ counsel to review documents, ensuring the mechanics of the transaction are workable for bank and brokerage firms, as well as supervising the service of notice and solicitation documents to the firms or their agents. He has extensive experience with securities transactions including tender and exchange offers, rights offerings and consent solicitations.

Prior to joining Verita, David was Vice President at another provider, and held securities consulting positions with Innisfree M&A Inc. and Georgeson & Co. He has facilitated over 175 bankruptcy solicitation assignments including, Calpine, Delphi, Movie Gallery, Enron and WorldCom.

David is a member of the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Professionals and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
